Character Creation
Character Creation In order to roleplay you have to an accepted character, post in here before you start! Moderator: Silver
It's the park that everyone and anyone heads to. During the day, it's filled with families and school field trips, old ladies feeding the birds, groups of teens taking a break from shopping, everything. During the night, it's still crowded. The families have gone home, the teenagers are crashing parties, the birds have left the area and the old ladies are back in their homes. The clubbers, the creatures of the night, psychopaths rule the park.
Everyone uses the subway in the city, it's the easiest and fastest way of transportation if you don't have a vehicle or don't have the money for gas. A couple dollars and you have a year long pass to the subway. Just remember, the homeless tend to sleep in the area as well as others who aren't quite human. Also, these trains don't stop. 24/7 the computer operated trains are running, which means if it's only you and another... remember, no one can hear you scream except for the rats.
Hip, raging, famous. Everyone who's of age or has a fake id is seen here, though that doesn't limit it just to humans. Famous Dj's are common in the booth and in the crowds. Celebs can be seen here and there. It would be better to get to this club before the night time rush hour, as it reaches it maximum capacity fast. Shadows lurk in here, lights flicker with the beat, people go missing. Though it can serve for a good time.
The oldest church in the city. It's been there through wars, though battles of the good and evil. Many still come here on Sunday mornings for their usual meeting, though many also come at different times during the day for confession or just to pray. This is holy ground. Sanctuary is key if you are being chased by the damned. Priests are always there, many live on the grounds, many carry holy water as well as crosses. Beings of such holy stature should be a warning to all.
A huge set of apartment complex's houses those from young ages straight to ages beyond imagination. This isn't just one big giant building of apartments, no not at all. In fact there are small and large buildings alike all over the city that are from the Apartment plant company. Some buildings are more rundown, while others are brand new. But none will be able to keep out the night.
A hospital is a neutral zone, a place where people may come to get their physical and emotional help. Wounds can be healed with time, rooms can be provided, mid-wifes are common, doctors are willing to help, people of all types are common. Just remember you place, be patient, and wait for the line to move.
A gruesome place, the smell, the rotting stench of plants in their final stages of life. Only the nasty of the nasty live there or dwell there. On the occasion, people will be caught there, but most of it is for dares or to end their lives like the tree's a plants. The air is warm, there is no breeze, life dwells within the brush. Be careful.
Everything and anything that comes into the city has either come from the land, or through the bay. Inspections are key, warehouses are everywhere, cops roam but do not leave their cars unless someone provokes them. The warehouses are the best sense of cover if you can't get back to your home, though do watch out. No one knows who could be in there. Humans, creatures of the night, beware.
Also known as the Ocean. Parties and just daily life is played out here. Though as night rolls around, the area becomes a place of death and fights. The ocean goes still, the parties push together into one, the night creatures join for their kills and meals. On this beach, love is also common between those of the night as well as the humans, sometimes even mixed. Watch out, your kind may just be strolling the beach while you are fooling around.
Housing? It's nescissary. Houses are common here, though most are in groups due to the new 'crime' rates. People who live in the group each are in contact with each other, so an attack on them will result people joining in the fight. In the woods more away from the city, there are houses that have been abandoned in fear or the people have just died off. Animals may be in the houses, but if you are currently homeless... anything will do.
Transportation to the inner city from select areas around the city. It comes right up to the edge of the town, though the train has had a few issues in the past couple years. Strange occurrences, though no one has died. Some of the homeless from the city take shelter in the old trains. It really is a useful way to head out into the deeper section of smaller towns and into the woods. Also... the station itself, really is falling apart. Watch out for falling ceiling pieces and lights going out.
The sewers run all the way from the suburbs out of the city straight into the city. Creatures dwell in the stinky depths, as well as bacteria and diseases. Though if your smart, you'll use this for quick travel if your in some trouble or you can use it for a quick route to your home. Almost all of the sewers lead to a dark alley way or into the cellar of your home. A wrong turn.. could lead you to your doom.
Vampires. Vampires only, or their 'doners' are welcome. This club is for those hungry vampires. The ones looking for sex, looking for human blood, the ones looking for that one night stand or maybe even some sort of relationship. A human doesn't dare step foot into such a place without a host; a wereanimal doesn't dare step foot into such a stinky area. Vampires have their territory too.
The market isn't like the mall. In fact this is actually more for food and the housing needs rather than clothes and personal goods. It's a street market, so it isn't open during the night... due to the fact many of the vendors have lives to tend to and would rather not be out and vulnerable. These markets are war zones, hatred from humans to night creatures alike. Do be careful in such regions... who knows who could show up out of the blue.
Saint's mall really has nothing to do with churches, holy ground, hold water, anything. In fact it's probably the largest shopping region of the city. A three story mall is placed in the center of everything, therefore business booms. Even on holidays the stores are packed and people are looking for new things. This is a breeding ground for fights, but nothing happens until those who start it step outside into the alley or into the streets.
A huge arcade; where gamers and geeks alike get off. Imagine the room filled with flashing lights, coins clinking, money being sucked into machines. Most of these games are rip offs but way too addicting for anyone to give up. Once you win, move on. This place is almost perfect for the first date, or for the meeting grounds. It's also a neutral ground. Fun = neutral.
This is where all of the hippest and probably some of the more famous DJ's come to show off their skills. DJ's from all over come here to show their spinners, their cars, their money, their mixes, their bodies, anything. Though with the DJ's comes the 'raver' crowd. Ravers vary from humans to Vampires to were-animals, though most vampires tend to stick to the North Sector. Watch your back in this club
This Inn isn't really a hotel or a motel... it's more like a Bed n' Breakfast. There is no room service, but once you walk down one floor your in a nice living room/dining room where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served everyday. It's barely busy, occasionally there's a crowd but mostly it's only about seven people at the most. One thing that is common here... one night stands. For all you players out there.
This isn't a HUGE shopping center, but it's all in a small mall with entrances to each store in the front. There is a food market here, but it's tiny, small enough for those rural folks. There's a few clothing stores where they are almost always looking for some new people to hire, a gas station for a quick fill up, but this is also a place with many robberies. Whether it's by a human or not. Night time hour here isn't that great.
A 'Neutral' zone for creatures of all kinds. There is no fighting aloud, and those who are of different 'species' can shop together, eat together and live normally without the fighting, without the anger. Those who end up fighting can and will be forcefully taken out of the room.
The pier consists of a large amusement park, with a Roller coaster going all along the sides and over other rides, as well as concession stands. This too is a place of many jobs, though gangs tend to roam around this area. It's like back in the 80's, where gangs roamed places where they could show off their tough side and show off their girls. It still happens today, just minus the leather coats and greased up hair that is all pushed back. But you can come here for a good time, perfect for dates. Don't forget the beach IS attached to it.
The alley, a nasty dirty place where mainly drug dealers and prostitutes tend to hang. Need a good-time? Someone will throw themselves at you. Need a fix? Drug dealers are around the corner. But other than the whores, and dealers... this is also where many sewer covers come up. In the sewers during the day? This is where you can climb on out like normal without anyone really caring.

It's the club of the were-animals. Just like the vampires having their own area, the were-animals need their space. It is a hot dance club, only the occasional human shows up in here but they NEED to be accompanied by a were-animal. Events here are common, as well as betting, card games, sex, and even the rare killing or 'sacrifice'. Every animal needs it's special meal once in a while.
It's exactly what it's supposed to sound and be like. Owned by a mistress, she made this motel for those who have their needs which can't be settled by regular males or females. Couples come here for more activities, or just for shows. This also can just be a normal hotel, you just need to ask about the 'regular' rooms first. Though some of those rooms may have little secrets.
This is a quiet, dark, but beautiful place only the creatures of the night may access. Imagine the place as a large field filled with wildflowers, dark clouds rolling over the sky to blot out the sun for all the creatures of the night to enjoy. At night, the clouds just disappear into nothing so the stars can be shown to all. Though do be warned... many who are against each other do visit such a place. If a war were to break out, the place will die for all.
